About Me

IMG_7951.jpg

I come from a Fine Art background, Goldsmith College, London. After my studies, I worked as a metal sculpture instructor and realized that many of my students were coming to the art lessons to alleviate therapeutic needs. This experience led me to take some foundation psychology courses, which cemented in me the importance of combining art and psychology. This realization is what led me to pursue my Masters Degree and formal training as an art therapist and licensed counselor.  I earned my Masters Degree in Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Connecticut.

As a child my family moved internationally often forcing me to change environments and friends and art always grounded me and gave me a way to process those experiences. I hope to instill and provide art as a creative outlet where clients can process challenging experiences through the creative process of art therapy.  I have lived in Israel, Norway, England, Spain, and the US.  These experiences have shaped my outlook and perspective on cultural diversity.

To ensure the quality of my practice and work within the scope of the Art Therapists’ Code of Ethics, I am registered with HCPC,  BAAT and AATA and attend regular sessions of clinical supervision.
